- One winter squash - One sweet potato - 3
carrots - maple syrup
|

Directions: |
|
Wash winter squash, sweet potatoes, carrots. Slice
lengthwise. Boil or steam until fork tender. Drain
and place in shallow skillet. Pour on enough maple
syrup to cover bottom of pan. Thin syrup by adding a
small amount of water. Stir. Dot veggies with butter
and cook uncovered in oven, or on top of stove at
medium temp (300 degrees) until glazed. Baste every
5 minutes.

Maple Chicken

Notes: |
- 1 2-1/2 3lb chicken
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp. grated lemon rind
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped almonds (optional)
- 2 tsp. lemon juice

Directions: |
|
Place chicken pieces in shallow baking pan. Mix
remaining ingredients and pour evenly over chicken.
Bake uncovered for about 1 hour at 325 degrees,
basting occasionally.

Maple Baked Ham

Ingredients: |
Notes: |
- 2 tsp dry mustard
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- 3/4 cup maple syrup
- thick ham slices
|

|
Directions: |
|
Mix mustard, lemon juice and stir until smooth. Add
maple syrup and pour over ham slices in baking pan.
Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 50 minutes,
basting every 10 minutes.
